Day 3
Exploring the Antrim Coast...
We got up early for our breakfast at our B&B-
During breakfast our hosts were so gracious as to regal us with their family history-their ancestors portraits hung around the dining room.
As we were getting ready to leave for our drive back to Belfast, we got some great pointers on where to stop along the way for some beautiful scenery. First stop was Torr Head. It's the northern most point in Northern Ireland and the closest point to Scotland. It sounds awesome! So we said our good-byes and traveled the last time down the beautiful drive/road to our B&B.
Once we left our B&B, we traveled north to catch the Antrim Coastal Road and find Torr Head.
On top of Torr Head with Scotland across the water.
I finally made it to Northern Ireland!
We took a lot of time exploring Torr Head as it was such a beautiful view, that we had to head straight back to Belfast with no more stops. :( As usual, the driver doesn't really get to see the scenery-so the girls had to take pictures for me as we drove the coastal road back.
We arrived back in Belfast and dropped off our rental car, then took a taxi to our hotel to drop off our luggage.
We went to the Titanic Museum and explored the history of the Titanic.
We explored a little of Belfast-not enough time though.
